CHRIS GIBSON, PE

Mr. Gibson is a native of the Cape Fear region of NC. Growing up as a waterman, commercial fishing both inshore and offshore species, he developed a love and understanding of the mid-Atlantic coastal environments. After graduation from North Carolina State University in 1992, Mr. Gibson went to work for one of the premier coastal engineering firms in the country working on some of the largest port and storm damage reduction projects in the US. In 2013, Mr. Gibson founded TI Coastal Services, Inc. to provide a full range of coastal engineering and survey services to municipalities and the dredging industry.

Mr. Gibson’s primary focus now is on wholistic systems management of shallow draft inlets and their accompanying beaches. This value added approach of coastal management has improved environmental habitats and reduced costs for our municipal clients up and down the coast.
