JAMIE PRATT, PG

After growing up developing a love of the ocean in coastal southeastern Delaware, Jamie went to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he majored in Geology. From 2004 to 2006, he attended the University of Delaware to pursue a master’s degree with a concentration in Coastal Geology. This allowed him to return to his college roots in Wilmington, NC and begin working with a coastal engineering and hydrographic surveying firm. Over the past 15 years, Jamie has worked on nearly 50 separate beach nourishment projects spanning 9 states along the East and Gulf coasts. Jamie holds professional Geologist licensure for both North Carolina and Delaware.  His main focus now lies on the implementation, design, permitting, and construction management of each management program for coastal communities, especially in southeastern North Carolina. Jamie has been a part owner and managing member of TI Coastal since its inception in 2013 and has thoroughly enjoyed watching the company grow to what it is today.
